Practice for the Georgia commercial driver’s license knowledge tests. The questions follow the federal CDL manual that every state builds its tests on, and every answer is explained.
Georgia CDL basics
- You get four test attempts on one permit application. After the fourth failed attempt, or if 360 days pass between attempts, you apply again.
- Drivers aged 18 to 21 can drive only inside Georgia. The limit comes off on or after the 21st birthday.
- Your self-certified driving category decides whether you must provide a copy of your medical card.

- General knowledge
Required for every CDL. Inspection, vehicle control, hazards, cargo and the rules.

Coupling, uncoupling, rollovers and trailer skids. Needed for Class A.
