What can I practice for CDL today?

The general knowledge test, air brakes and combination vehicles. Hazardous materials, tank vehicles, doubles and triples, passenger and school bus are coming.

Are these the real CDL test questions?

No. They are practice questions written from the federal CDL driver manual, with every answer explained. Your state's own manual can add rules, so read it too.

Do I need a permit before the CDL test?

Yes. You pass the knowledge tests to get a commercial learner's permit (CLP). Federal rules then require at least 14 days with the CLP before the skills test.

How old do I have to be?

Federal rules set 18 to drive inside one state and 21 to drive between states or haul hazardous materials. Your state may add its own rules.

Is CDL Premium a subscription?

No. It is a one-time payment for 7 days, 30 days or lifetime access, and it never renews. CDL costs less than the car tests.

Does my car Premium include CDL?

No. CDL is its own product with its own plans. Car and CDL Premium are bought separately.

Which CDL states are open?

The questions are the same federal set for everyone. We have state pages for Texas, California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio, with more on the way.
