How to Pass Your Driving Test at the Miller Air Park DMV

Miller Air Park is a road test only site on Route 530 at Mule Road in Berkeley Township, Ocean County. It sits on a county airport, and there is no licensing counter here.

The MVC lists the Miller Air Park site at Route 530 and Mule Road, Berkeley Township, NJ 08757, in Ocean County. It is an MVC road testing site.

MVC's road testing locations page says hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, closed Saturdays and Sundays, by appointment only. Because this is a test-only site, permits, licenses and paperwork are handled at a full licensing center.

The site is on Ocean County Airport, also called Robert J. Miller Air Park. Wikipedia says the airport straddles the border of Berkeley Township and Lacey Township and sits about five nautical miles southwest of central Toms River.

The MVC says some road tests are given on an off-road area and others on a public road course. The MVC page does not say which applies here, so ask your school.

Lacey Driving School in Forked River says its road test service covers the Miller or Eatontown site. Skillful Driving School lists Toms River and Brick among its service towns, and a parent review on its site says the instructor practiced the test at Miller Air Park.

What to bring to the Miller Air Park road test

The MVC requires an appointment, takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and has you wait at least 14 days to retest after a fail. It checks reversing, stopping at signs, intersections, smooth stopping, steering, parallel parking and yielding.
