The Delanco MVC center at 400 Creek Road handles both licensing and road tests for the Burlington County side of the Delaware River corridor. Several nearby schools name it as a test site.

Where is the Delanco road test site?

The MVC lists the Delanco site at 400 Creek Road, Delanco, NJ 08075, in Burlington County. It is a full MVC licensing center that also gives road tests.

The MVC lists Delanco at 400 Creek Rd., Delanco, NJ 08075 under both Licensing and Road Testing. That makes it a full licensing center, not a test-only site. You still need a road test appointment, booked online or through a driver testing center.

Delanco is in Burlington County. Schools in nearby towns list it as a test site for their students. Advantage Driving School in Palmyra names Delanco in its coverage list, along with Riverside, Delran, Cinnaminson and Willingboro. Lehmann Auto Driving School in Delran lists Delanco and Riverside among its towns. Vista Driving School in Lambertville lists Delanco too.

Several services sell a car for the Delanco test only. Vista sells a Delanco-only rental at $120. The site njroadtests.com says its service is offered at the Delanco location and charges an $80 booking cost. Their pages say the driver meets you at the test center.

Know the car rules before you book a rental. The MVC says the examiner must be able to reach the foot or parking brake, and a rental is only accepted if the test taker is listed as an additional driver on the contract. Confirm with the school that the car it supplies meets these rules, and ask who the listed driver is.

What to bring to the Delanco road test

The MVC requires an appointment, takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and has you wait at least 14 days to retest after a fail. It checks reversing, stopping at signs, intersections, smooth stopping, steering, parallel parking and yielding.

Practice the Delanco route with DMVRoadTest.net

DMVRoadTest.net sells a one-time premium guide for the Delanco test center for $9.99. The site says each guide has a route explanation, expert tips and what it calls road test secrets. It describes test route overviews with maps and start and end points, step-by-step turns, speed-limit areas, complex intersections, maneuver instructions such as parallel parking and three-point turns, and the spots where candidates commonly make mistakes.
